Place the bulk sample into the hopper and the evenly divided product is
collected in the two receiving boxes.
It is recommended that the width of the slots is 2.5 to 3 times bigger
than the diameter of the largest particle being split.

Sample Splitters (Riffiers) are used when dividing and reducing the bulk
sample. They are ideal for food, environmental and chemical use.
Includes main body, two pans, and one scoop. Made from high
quality stainless steel.
The scoop lays inside the hopper, and when removed, drops the
grains on to the chutes.

Instructions: Place the scoop in the hopper in such a way
that it is at a right angle from the hopper, by holding the
handle of the scoop. The scoop will rest in the middle of
the hopper.
Pour the sample into the hopper, and lift the scoop.
The grain is divided into two equal divisions, and
discharged into separate pans.
